My Project Outline

Final Result

Expand the social reach and hopefully increase sales for the business "worn."


Documentation

I will post about 2 or 3 times a week, concisely explaining what I have learned and where I can improve.


Relation to goals

Completing this project will force me to reach out to business owners and other people with expertise in software like HubSpot. Experience with this type of software will progress my own skill set and help me stand out in the Praxis program. I will also get a more involved look into what it is like to run a small business.


Week by week breakdown

Week 1:

Get a hold of the business owner and convince them to let me market on their behalf.


Week 2:

Start renovating an outdated website and setup accounts with HubSpot, MailChimp, and look into Facebook ads.


Week 3:

Finish said website and make it public. Create ads and disperse them on Facebook and Instagram. Email campaigns with MailChimp are also apart of my plan.


Week 4:

Review the results and asses if I made any progress.


Anticipated Challenge

Converting the outreach into actual sales.


Versatility

I want to show that I can handle the different aspects of marketing this business. I will be experimenting with 3 software's and the social media for this business all while meeting the guidelines of the owner. Determination and making it a point to be outgoing is not something everyone can do efficiently.
